Focus on Better Behavior

In this article in the freep, there was an interview with parents who teach their 3 and 6 year old manners. A very good point in the interview was that they stressed the fact that if you want your child to behave with respect and consideration toward others, you, the parent need to display the same behavior. Although that may be glaringly apparent, some parents often see disrespecting behavior as coming directly from the child themselves, as though they have no impact on them. Starting early is key, even if they are not real sure what it is they are learning, but it will create a habit for the years  to come.
