Focus on Better Behavior

Are you one of those parents that steps in if their kid blows their allowance, or totals the car? That may not be the right choice for them. The best teacher can be natural consequences as a results of the choices they make for themselves. Baling them out at every turn will only teach them that someone will save them or help them out, but in adulthood that’s not the case. They don’t learn what can be at stake. You can start when they are young. if they can’t limit their time on the computer, they don’t get to use it. If they rack up a big cell phone bill, don’t let them have a phone. This will being training for self-control and decision-making.
