Intervening With Someone Else’s Child
March 31st, 2009 by admin
This is a thought-provoking blog post about when to intervene if someone else’s child is in trouble. I’m sure every parent has had that experience on both sides. The author talks about the times she would intervene. Basically it comes down to whether you would want someone to help your child, that’s when you would step in. She gives a great tip about telling your child that if they ever get lost to find another parent with children and ask them to help them find you by calling your name instead of "mom" or "dad". Other parents are probably some of the safest strangers around!
