This spooky holiday is around the corner and you want your children to have a good time, but you also want them to be safe. It’s advisable to wait until your child is at least ten to let them go trick or treating on their own. Have them stay in designated areas of the neighborhood and give them a time that they need to return home. Don’t let them go alone and have them go with friends or an adult that you know. Tell them not to go inside anyone’s residence unless they actually know the person well. Check our activities ion your community where you may be able to take your children for them to celebrate the holiday. You will know where they are and can rest assured knowing that they are in a safe place able to have fun.
