Fighting Back Against Tantrums

It is true that throwing tantrums are a part of childhood. How you handle it is the key to enjoying your children and being a parent. Younger children can have a tough time because they are still learning how to communicate and can get frustrated by not having the words to express themselves. Tantrums can be a result of a power struggle, they test their limits. There are things that will help when handling a tantrum: ignoring them, eventually they will move on. Don’t argue with them. Set limits and be consistent, don’t give in when it seems to be the easier solution. It doesn’t have to be a constant fight with your children when tantrums happen.
