Changing Bedtimes to Accommodate Working Parents

Recently, there was an article in a New York magazine reporting on the new ways parents who work late every night have solved the guilt of not seeing their children before they go to bed. They are pushing back bedtimes an hour or more so mom and dad can spend a few precious moments with their child before they drop off to sleep. This practice is creating sleep deprived children and the solution? Parents need to negotiate at their jobs to be able to come home early enough to spend some quality time with their kids before bedtime.
